Data Deletion Instructions
You can delete your BabyTruthsBooks account and the personal data connected with Google or Facebook sign-in.
1. Delete your account in Settings
If you can sign in, open Settings and choose “Permanently delete my account”. You will be asked to sign in again, enter your account email, and confirm the deletion.
Self-service deletion starts immediately and may take a few minutes if an illustration is already being generated.
2. Send a request if you cannot sign in
- Email us from the address connected with your account.
- Use the subject “BabyTruthsBooks data deletion request”.
- Tell us whether you want to delete the whole account or a specific book or child-related project.
You can use these instructions even if you originally signed in with Facebook or Google.
3. Identity verification
We may ask you to confirm control of the account email or provide limited information needed to locate the account. We do this to prevent another person from deleting your books or child-related content.
4. What we delete
After verification, we delete or de-identify the account profile, saved story projects, prompts, optional reference photos, generated illustrations, and downloadable book files associated with the request.
We may retain limited payment, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records where applicable law requires or permits it. Those records are restricted and are not kept for product use.
5. Timing
Self-service deletion starts immediately. For emailed requests, we aim to confirm the request promptly and complete verified deletion within 30 days, unless applicable law allows more time. Backup and provider deletion cycles may take longer, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
